We wait

We are about to be married, our friends have sons and daughters, and every spare moment, we slip into the world when our parents were children.

Do I say it? I never say it, at least never here, but she is sick, I am scared, and I want to be her child forever.

Jez.& you always will be, when my father was very ill and ongoing for several years I decided to embrace the opportunity to bestow as much love there as possible- little to what had been given to me. You will too. and it will enrich you beyond measure, I assure you-whether you are near or far, participate. so happy about your impending nuptials. Gaye

When it rains, it pours. It was the same with us before our wedding. Thinking about you and wishing you well as you navigate this emotionally charged time. Stay strong, sister. xoxo

I hope she and you and those around you are hanging on through the storm. I am sure she is a fighter.

You are all wonderful. P, I remember reading about FH's dad. It's good, it's bad, it's all we've got.
