Is this a good or bad thing? Couldn't tell what you think...

My first inclination is that I'd rather her stay a private person. I'm not even sure she understands that she cotradicts herself when she says she doesn't want to share her MJ grief w/ the millions at the staples center. But she has no problem broadcasting it with the millions on twitter...

I love her Twitter account, and I am no fan (or account holder) of Twitter in general. I don't see any contradiction - she is clearly the master of her Twitter domain, and her messages are reaching a controlled audience, those who care enough to follow her feed. Also, grieving is inherently a contradictory and wild process.

I thought you might like that photo, GB.

LA, it must be incredibly difficult to be age and battle with your body, and then on top of it, to be ET who was famous for her exterior.

She was and is still amazing to see in her films- Cat on a hot tin, Butterfield 8, God, in Suddenly last summer. Her looks never over rode her acting skills though which is truly amazing.I can't think of anybody today that can say that- Sadly all of her injuries and pain have taken a toll on her beauty- but she is definitely fierce still- Age is for us all- my turn.

good points jezebel.

i don't think i have the reverence you and LA have for ET, but that's more based on ignorance than anything else. I read her twitter feed and I thought it was sweet.

Part of the mystery in all this MJ madness are the people that had a relationship with him. I won't try to read into his character as that dead horse has been uselessly and repeatedly beaten. I can only speculate that their superstardom and isolation therein probably brought them together, so I don't belittle her grief. I just find the relationship odd.

I, like you, jezebel, just don't understand twitter's value sometimes. However you make a great point about it being a nice controlled environment for a celebrity to communicate with their controlled audience.

I guess, lately it seems the world is moving too fast to track...
